July 15, 2017,
11:30 am to 3:30 pm

The Clark County Democratic Women and the National Women's Political Caucus believe that we need more women as elected leaders. If you have ever thought about what it takes to run for office or how to run a successful campaign, then please join us for a training event Saturday, July 15th that will teach you the basics of forming your campaign plan, fundraising, voter analysis, and messaging.

We are pleased to have nationally recognized campaign and candidate expert, Teresa Purcell, present substantive topics on what it takes to win as a woman. Teresa has consulted on over 210 campaigns throughout the United States, and has provided training to groups, such as Vote, Run, Lead; EMILY’s List, Progressive Majority, Women’s Equality Center, and the Women’s Campaign Fund.

She will be joined by City of Washougal Councilor, Joyce Lindsay, who will tell her personal story of how she won and National Women's Political Caucus representative, Marjorie Ledell, on what they look for in a quality candidate.
