Introduction
Let your voices be heard Carteret County citizens! A peaceful, non-partisan march will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Beaufort, NC. This march is being organized by a group of non-partisan citizens of Carteret County.
Our Mission
The focus for this march is on emphasizing common concerns on issues affecting our county, state and country including equality; social, environmental and economic justice. The rally will include multiple speakers addressing concerns including job, education, health care, mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention, as well as protecting our Crystal Coast.
March Route
Marchers are asked to gather at 11:00 AM at Grayden Paul Park on Front Street (across from Beaufort Town Hall and BB&T Bank). The half-mile march begins at noon and ends with a rally at the Carteret County Courthouse. The march will be on sidewalks and is handicap accessible. We encourage marchers to bring signs and to focus on positive and local messages.
