Community Self-Defense Public Panel Discussion

Lansing, MI
United States
January 19, 2018,
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

All across the country people are fighting back. In the wake of Trump’s election, there has been a surge of resistance, both within the u.s. borders and across the entire globe.

Solidarity & Defense is a statewide group part of a wave of resistance that is trying to build fighting movements and working class power against the government and fascists/racists. We organize along directly democratic and participatory lines and are independent of all political parties and their affiliated groups. Whether we’re organizing to resist evictions and racist displacement, stopping ICE raids that disorient and break up immigrant communities, or shutting down nazis when they try to rally and organize, we are organizing community self defense.

Want to join the movement? Come kick it with us on Friday, January 19th for a panel discussion with folks organizing community self defense in Lansing and across the Midwest. Free food and childcare will be provided.
