The 47th District Democrats, Indivisible Covington, and Girl Scout troop 41415 are hosting a town hall meeting.

Council members and candidate will takes questions from the audience. All questions will be relayed to Congressman Reichert after the town hall.
Mr. Poga Ahn has suspended is Congressional campaign. He will not be speaking but will be in attendance.

8th CD congressional candidate Poga Ahn has announced he will be running against Dave Reichert. He has accepted our invitation to speak. Kent city council candidate Satwinder Kaur has also agreed to speak. We are excited to add these wonderful community leaders to our lineup!

Republican Congressman Dave Reichert has refused to schedule a public event to listen to the questions and concerns of his constituents. We deserve answers, so we have organized our own town hall meeting. He will be in town for the congressional recess, all he has to do is show up. We will save a seat for him.
We are in the process of inviting other elected officials and community leaders who represent people from the 8th congressional district.
