Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is a kind of administrative relief from deportation created under the Obama Administration. The purpose of DACA is to protect eligible immigrant youth who came to the United States when they were children from deportation. DACA gives young undocumented immigrants: 1) protection from deportation, and 2) a work permit. However, President Trump has recently announced a plan to abolish this important program that protects millions of "dreamers" nationwide. Dreamers are now at risk of being deported in the future due to no fault of their own and being left without a way to legally make income in the United States. Please join us in a peaceful protest of solidarity to show that we will not let our administration tear apart our nation.
