The Muslim & Immigrant Coalition for Justice and the Bronx Community Council in support by Councilmember Ritchie Torres is asking for your attendance and collaboration on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 12:00 pm on the steps of NYC City Hall as we come together in solidarity speaking out on Assemblymembers Ron Castorina and Nicole Malliotakis (Republican) lawsuit to release the personal data of IDNYC ID holders information.
The lawsuit if granted merit would place in peril over 500,000 NYC immigrant residents that are IDNYC ID holders. Even thou the IDNYC does not ask questions about any immigration status its records if released would be used by names and addresses of immigrants that would be scrutinize and or placed in jeopody of deportation by ICE or Homeland Security at their disposal and discretion of which they may locate individuals under undocumented status records of their own agencies.
UNITY IS THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR OUR VOICES TO BE HEARD.
