On June 4th, the Portland Police once again showed their true alliance with white supremacists and fascist organizations. Not only did police violently attack anti-fascist protesters, but they were actively helped by the pro-Trump fascists in carrying out arrests. The chief of police later claimed that citizen collaboration in arrests was normal. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! The police also kettled hundreds of people and took their photograph with their ID in order for them to leave. The chief of police later denied that this even happened. THAT IS A LIE!
As a result of the extremely biased and excessive force used by the Portland Police on Sunday, 11 people were arrested. After our court date on June 9th there are 6 of us who still have charges pending. Our next court date is June 22nd at 9:00am. Please come show your support!
