Housing Not Jails: A March to End Homelessness

November 1, 2017,
3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

There is enough empty housing in New Haven to put a roof over everyone's head tonight. Instead of providing housing, the city is criminalizing our community, destroying homeless encampments, stealing our property, and imposing fines, fees and community service hours. The institutions designed to help us are profiting from our continued homelessness. Down with the prison industrial complex! Down with the shelter industrial complex! Housing for all!

In order to protect the safety and wellbeing of our community, we are demanding that whoever wins the New Haven mayoral race in the upcoming election respond to these set of demands by December 1st, 2017.
