As you are all well aware, activism is at an all time high right now as we resist the terrible injustices that have been thrust upon us by the Trump Administration. In an effort to keep the momentum from dying out, Caitlin and I are hosting a monthly "huddle" or gathering for letter and/or email writing to our state and federal officials.
Each event will be held at a locally owned coffeehouse or bar to promote local businesses. Lakeside St. Coffeehouse has been gracious enough to provide space in their downstairs dining area for our first event. I will bring paper and envelopes for those that want to write handwritten letters, otherwise feel free to bring a laptop. Addresses of state representatives will be available as well as topics and talking points to get you started if this is new territory for you.
