The Lansing City council has called a special meeting to discuss and hopefully reach a decision on the "welcoming cities" resolution they have been putting off for months. Our continued efforts have taken this from a dead issue to the point where we may finally get a decision but we need one more big swell of support to do so.
Please make some time to come out and show your support and tell our elected officials that we will not accept a token resolution or anything that is simply a statement of values. We want real and meaningful protections for our undocumented neighbors.
