Please join us, performers, artists, thinkers, and makers of all kinds, as we come together to redefine our public space from one of singular and stagnant violence and isolation to one of connection, complexity and motion. We are building This Machine (Not My President's Day), a collection of public, site-specific performances for February 20, 2017, that will happen in various sites along public transit lines and culminate at The Red Stag Supper Club for an evening of performance, conversation, and shared food and drink. Not my President's Day is a series of DIY performance events held around the country and the world on February 20, 2017, to help mobilize and channel our opposition to the recent US election into art and positive activism. With art, embodiment, and activation of public space, we will build This Machine to directly combat the propaganda machine, the money machine, the media machine, in service of integrity, empowerment, and humanity.
