Tax fairness. Don't give more tax breaks to the corporations and the wealthy.
We are demanding that Congress issue a subpoena to compel the release of all of President Trump’s tax returns. So far, the Republican Congress has voted three times to reject legislation requiring this disclosure. Trump is the first major party nominee to not provide complete tax returns for public inspection in more than 40 years. He repeatedly promised to do so during the campaign, but reneged after the election. Presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway told ABC News in January, “He’s not going to release his tax returns… People didn’t care. They voted for him.”
As millions of Americans file their yearly taxes to support our government, it’s essential that we are informed of any business conflicts of interest that the president may have, as well as any financial ties to Vladimir Putin, Russian state intelligence, or Russian oligarchs.
The rally will also address the Administration’s radical budget and the planned legislation to revise the tax code for the first time in 30 years.
