Transgender Day of Visibility

The LGBT Center OC in collaboration with Anaheim Public Library are proud to host Transgender Day of Visibility on Friday, March 31st.

This event welcomes all ages and people -- including but not limited to youth, students, families, community members, teachers, counselors, school administrators, local organizers and activists -- to observe Transgender Day of Visibility. 

We invite Jessica Herthel to read from her celebrated book, I Am Jazz, a children's picture book illustrating the every day life of Jazz Jennings, a transgender girl.

Following the reading, guests are invited to participate to share their creativity, poetry, spoken word, and musical performances at the Open Mic session.

Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
