Warrick County Needs Truly Affordable Health Care

Is anyone in Boonville and the surrounding towns having a hard time paying your medical bills? Do you wonder how American healthcare got so expensive, or what it’s all paying for? Do you think, “There’s no way I can pay for this”, or “I guess I can pay for this, but it’s breaking me”? Do you know someone who knows they are sick, but is not seeking help because of the cost? Do you love or hate Obamacare, but wish there were more “Affordable” in the Affordable Care Act?

Join us at the Boonville Public Library’s Meeting Room A at 6:00 pm on Thursday July 13th for an honest discussion about how our current situation in America compares with the way that several other countries deliver healthcare to their people. We want to hear from you, whether you have lived in Warrick County all your life, or experienced military or civilian healthcare in another county. We will watch the 2008 Frontline show “Sick Around the World”, then take stock of what options and obstacles face us as a county.
