We care about affordable healthcare for all, and we want to let our voices be heard about the US House of Representatives passing the draconian TRUMPCARE bill that strips care from millions!
We will hold a rally across the street from the Canton City Council Chambers, and will attend the council meeting following the rally. We will encourage Canton City Council to pass a resolution supporting the Affordable Care Act which will be sent to Washington. A resolution is being drafted, and we expect many on council to be favorable to passing it.
Everyone can attend, even if you are not a Canton City resident. We would prefer that speakers for public speaks be residents or workers in the city of Canton. Public speaks comments are STRICTLY limited to 3 minutes.
This is a nonviolent and lawful event. Attendees must follow all laws and regulations. There will be no civil disobedience allowed. The location is adjacent to the Canton Police Station, so it should be secure.
