October 24th the Nevada Conservation League, along with several partner organizations, will be holding a panel discussion at UNR on the topic of Women, Communities of Color and the Environment. Within the broad scope of this topic, we will address:

· How environmental pollution impacts women during pregnancy
· What are the greatest environmental risks to reproductive health care
· How environmental justice and environmental disparities differ in different areas of the world
· How women and communities of color are impacted by environmental pollution disproportionately when compared to the general population
· And how has and how can the conservation community address these issues in an intersectional manner 

Speakers include Dr. Jennifer Willett, Dr. Lyndsey Darrow, Dr. Julie Lucero and Helen Fillmore and Assembly Woman, Amber Joiner as moderator.
