This summit will have a specific economic focus.
We want to highlight that women are just as concerned about the economy as men, that we are economic leaders, small business owners, breadwinners, and that things that are typically considered "women's issues" like paid family leave, equal pay, family planning, abortion access, equal protection under the law, etc are all economic issues, too!
We will also be opening up participation to women owned/run businesses to showcase themselves during this Summit. Women can support women owned/run businesses, learn from each other about starting small businesses, and show all of Michigan that women take care of business!
We will also hear from our community and political leaders about their plans for improving the Michigan economy, and addressing those issues that still hold women back from their financial goals.
