#RootedInTheD is a grassroots campaign to fight the displacement of longtime and native Black people from the city of Detroit.
We envision a city where all Black Detroiters have stable housing and the resources to build our communities and improve our quality of life. Black people are being denied this right and are being forced out of the city because of foreclosures, rent-hikes, water shut-offs and evictions.
