True Blue Women

True Blue Women gathers progressive women to provide education, advocate social change and promote camaraderie.

True Blue Women began in Overland Park, Kansas after the November 2004 election. Disheartened by the outcome, we decided to gather like-minded women to take action.

Our first action was to mobilize against writing discrimination into the Kansas constitution. Our message: Celebrate Commitment, Value Tolerance, was spread throughout the Kansas City metro area through yard signs, bumper stickers and media exposure.
