Join us for a night celebrating reproductive health, rights, and justice!
WV FREE will be hosting our 17th annual benefit gala on Thursday, January 25 at 6 PM in the University of Charleston Ballroom to raise funds to support critical reproductive health education and access efforts in West Virginia. Funds raised directly support programs promoting the health of West Virginia women and families.
Our 2018 "Nevertheless, We Persist" gala is set to be our biggest, fiercest gala yet. Since our annual benefit galas are known to sell out each year, we're thrilled to be in our new, larger location - so we can share our special night with even more of you!
We can't believe we'll also be sharing space at the gala with none other than Dr. Willie Parker - reproductive justice advocate, OB/GYN, and author of "Life's Work: A Moral Argument for Choice" - who we are beyond ecstatic to have as our keynote speaker! The night will also serve to honor WV FREE's 2018 Helaine Rotgin Champion for Choice awardee, Lesly Messina.
There will be food, drinks (most importantly, sangria), silent auction, prizes, and more... including a spectacular musical performance by Charleston's very own Qiet!
