ARTivism: Mobilizing the Climate Movement

Join Wasatch Rising Tide, the Environmental Humanities Program, and local climate justice groups as we explore the practice and strategy of creative activism. We will kick off the day with a panel of artists, writers, musicians, and dancers who embody diverse forms of art activism. In the afternoon, we will make powerful banners and puppets in an art build led by David Solnit, the North American Arts Organizer for 350. This art build will support upcoming actions planned by the local climate justice movement.
