Becoming Johanna Film Screening

Join us for an inviting evening while learning more about the journey of transgender youth when we watch Johanna's story and hear from local youth and families. This short film by the Youth & Gender Media Project follows Johanna, a 16-year-old transgender Latinx girl, as she begins her transition and encounters difficulties at her home and school. Her foster family and supportive school principal help her graduate and thrive.
