Indiana State House

United StatesJuly 17, 2017,
12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Elbridge Gerry, the father of gerrymandering, has a birthday coming up on July 17th. To commemorate the date, activists working to pass redistricting reform legislation in Indiana will gather at the State House to rally for a fair and independent process that puts citizens, not lawmakers, in charge of redistricting. We'll have speeches from some of the leaders in this fight and get fired up to continue our work building grassroots support for reform. We'll need volunteers to collect signatures on petitions and help in others ways, so let us know if you can help. Most importantly, there will be birthday cake!
