Congress has until midnight on Thursday, February, 8th to pass a spending bill, or shutdown the government again. Immigration is at the heart of the debate.
Despite Congress’ theatrics, undocumented youth refuse to be used as bartering pawns to justify more violence, detention, and deportation of our families.
Tomorrow, youth across the country — particularly in border towns in San Diego and El Paso — will take action near the border walls to draw attention to the communities who bear the brunt of these violent national policies. We need the public to realize that it is immoral to use immigrant youth as pawns to hurt our families.
We won't stop the fight until we get permanent protection for *ALL* 11 million.
Join us at the U.S. - Mexico border on Thursday to action, build community with incredible local artists and poets, share song and dance, and fight for a dream without walls.
