Climate disasters like Superstorm Sandy and Hurricane Harvey are becoming more frequent and more intense. Our communities have felt the impacts of climate disasters already, and unless we take action now on climate change, those impacts will only get worse. Meanwhile, the oil & gas industry continues to build dangerous pipelines and polluting power plants that emit greenhouse gases and threaten our health and safety. This town hall from 9:30am - 3pm will include panel discussions and speakers addressing the environmental risks facing Atlantic City and the surrounding region, and how we can mobilize to push our elected leaders to move beyond fossil fuel dependence to a healthy, safe, and just clean energy future.
