Members of 1199SEIU, NYS Nurses Association, Citiizen Action of NY and the Healthcare Education Project have collected hundreds of postcards from area constituents, and will share constituents concerns with Rep. Stefanik's office.
Community leaders will assemble outside Rep. Stefanik's office to ask why Rep. Stefanik & Congress have Neglected to:
Renew funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), which covers nine million children and pregnant women?
Prevent cuts to Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH), which allows Glens Falls Hospital & other area hospitals to care for the uninsured and underinsured in their communities?
Reauthorize the Health Centers Fund which allows Federally-Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to serve the most vulnerable populations?
Fund the Cost-Sharing Reduction (CSR) Payments that help cover out of pocket costs for low and middle income Americans?
