Emergency Protest: End War and U.S. Occupation of Afghanistan

The Afghan community of the greater Los Angeles area has sent out a call to action to all people of conscience to join them in taking the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, April 16th at 2pm. This past week, the U.S. dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb ever used in combat on Nangahar Province in the eastern part of the country. Demand the end to the U.S. occupation and bombing of Afghanistan! The action will be held transnationally in different cities including Toronto, Canada. The Los Angeles action is being led by Afghans while it is being supported by various community organizations and is open to all who hold the same values.
