Freshman US Congressman John Faso R-NY19 refuses to meet and greet constituents in a public forum like a town hall where voters and residents can ask the politician about his decisions to vote along party lines to dismantle healthcare in New York State.
101,385 people in the NY19th would likely lose their health insurance as a result of the Faso-Collins amendment to the American Health Care Act (AHCA) that has passed the US House and is pending a vote in the Senate.
Today, Faso is meeting in a quickly and quietly organized members-only meet & greet with the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce at Roxbury Arts Group. A street-protest has been organized for area consitutents to let Faso know that with his voting record, he's setting himself up to be a 1-term freshman congressional representative.
For those in the NY19, though unable to attend the Rally in Roxbury, a companion rally will be held concurrently in Muller Plaza on Main Street in Oneonta, NY.
