Gerrymandering, Voter Suppression and Your Power to Fight Back

GOALS:
Help participants to understand ramifications of redistricting and give practical advice on ways to affect policies in Texas
Allow local candidates to present their advocacies 
Encourage collaboration, share best practices and increase support between networks
Utilize Activism to Get Out The Vote to flip two US Congress Districts, four Texas Legislature, and two County Commissioners seats in the 2018 midterm election

Networking opportunities to match organizations with participants
Roundtable discussion - what is Gerrymandering exactly and how it corrupts our system
Breakout sessions on how activist efforts can make a difference - Reaching out to minorities and younger people / Field organization
