Heartland Monthly Meeting - From Our Forest to the Arctic

This is the end of the year meeting for the Heartland Group. The date of our meeting was specifically chosen because it is the Anniversary of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. We have participated in several conservation efforts this year. From helping to defeat the Crown Hill Cemetery Forest destruction, to bringing hundreds of people out into the woods, to learn, enjoy, and connect. By this time we will have accomplished an important administrative milestone to talk about as well. We will have a presentation on our State Forest challenges as well as one of our most iconic natural heritage challenge, The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
