Indigenous Mexican, Middle Eastern, South and Southeast Asian women will share their migration journey, talk about the circumstances that led them to migrate, and how they are building place and sense of belonging in their new country.
“Fear and Threat Will Not Silence Women’s Voices” Rally
The rally will be an open public space for immigrant and non-immigrant women to be together and challenge the narrative of fear of the new administration that insists in presenting immigrants as a threat to “America’s Security.”

Foro: “Los Derechos de la Mujer Inmigrante”

Mujeres Indígenas Mexicanas, mujeres del Medio Oriente y del Sureste de Asia compartirán su trayecto migratorio, hablarán sobre las circunstancias que las llevaron a tomar la decisión de emigrar y como están construyendo un sentido de espacio y de pertenencia en su nuevo país.
Manifestación al Aire Libre: “EL MIEDO Y LA AMENAZA NO SILENCIARÁ LAS VOCES DE LAS MUJERES”
Fresno City Hall Plaza 5:00pm-7:00pm
Esta manifestación se llevará a cabo en un espacio público al aire libre para que las mujeres inmigrantes y no-inmigrantes se reúnan y juntas desafíen la narrativa de terror de esta nueva administración que insiste en etiquetar a los inmigrantes como una amenaza a la “Seguridad de América”.
¡Hagan acto de presencia y desafíen la retórica de odio con amor, paz y creatividad!
