Immigration 101

“Why don’t people just get in line?” “Why don’t they do it the legal way?” These are common questions about our immigrant neighbors. 
This workshop explores who we allow to get in line, how long the line is and whether everyone has access to a legal way to citizenship. It will help us understand more about the current immigration system, be informed on the challenges and struggles the immigrant community faces, be tuned into what new Executive Orders/legislation mean, and become ready to respond with compassion. This workshop will have different content from other local Immigration 101's that you may have already attended!
