3 Nights, 3 Topics, 3 Speakers.

It "is important, to be able, to do listening tours....So I’ll continue to keep doing those public get-togethers and be a good listener." - Erik Paulsen, February 27, 2017

Erik Paulsen, you are invited...

Erik Paulsen will not hold town halls. He prefers to do spontaneous "listening tours" with incredibly small groups, limiting access to his larger constituency.
Because our representative will not respond to our requests for town hall meetings, we are holding our own Listening Tour and we hope Erik will join us.
Erik, here is your chance to hear about the issues your constituents are concerned about!

We'll hear from expert Linus Chan, attorney with the U of MN center forNew Americans and the Detainee Rights Clinic, who will discuss immigration in the Trump era.

We will also hear CD3 Constituent testimony from a new American citizen, Asad Aliweyd, who will tell us about his own process for securing citizenship.

Linus Chan has practiced immigration law for more than 10 years with a focus on representing people who are detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He teaches the newly formed Detainee Rights clinic which provides representation and support for those facing removal from the United States detained in the Twin Cities area.
