Intro to Social Media for Digital Activism

Basic social media networking and literacy skills will be introduced to support activism resisting the current political agenda. The curriculum is geared towards people who have never used social media or have very limited experience. You do not have to have a Facebook or Twitter account to attend the class—we will help you set up accounts for one or both social networking sites.
Each class will include a brief introduction to Facebook and Twitter and will focus on skills that will aid in completing social media-related activism as outlined in the Indivisible Guide and helpful for participation in local Indivisible groups and Calls To Action.
