A year before Dr. King's assassination, he declared, "We as a nation must undergo a radical revolution of values." He was organizing that revolution in the Poor People's Campaign (PPC). It was a multiracial movement of black, white, brown, red, and yellow Americans organizing to abolish the "triple evils" of racism, economic exploitation, and militarism with non-violent direct action.
