300 N Los Angeles St
Los Angeles, CA 90012
United States
February 17, 2017,
11:00 am to 1:00 pm

The National Lawyers Guild is calling on lawyers, law students and legal workers to support the nationwide general strike called for February 17th (#F17GeneralStrike). In solidarity with the strike, we will demonstrate in front of the Federal Building at Los Angeles and Temple to:
Fight the rise of white supremacy
Defend ALL immigrants
No ICE raids, no ban on Muslims and no wall
Stop police brutality against people of color and the erosion of accountability
Uphold women’s rights, defend the right to abortion and support Planned Parenthood
Stop attacks on LGBT rights
Defend the Constitution
Stop pipeline construction through sacred lands and protect the environment

Lawyers, legal professionals, law students, workers, immigrants, communities of color, tenants and organizers fighting for justice are all welcome. No legal background is necessary – only the desire to uphold the law and expand its protections to those most oppressed and targeted under the current regime.
