Richmond area schools, community organizations, faith communities and more will come together on March 24th to stand in solidarity with the student-led National March For Our Lives event in Washington, DC. Too many of our city's and our region's children have been directly impacted by gun violence right here in Richmond, VA.
Join us as we rally at MLK Jr. Middle School and march together across the MLK Bridge to the State Capitol. We will conclude the march at the Bell Tower.
It's time to send a strong message that we've had #ENOUGH and are committed to the #NEVERAGAIN movement. Our children deserve safety and protection.
*This ALL INCLUSIVE, student-led march will lift up the voices of Richmond's students and give them an opportunity to be heard! It is being brought to RVA in partnership with Richmond Public Schools, The Gun Violence Prevention Advocacy Group of the LWCC, The Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence, Moms Demand Action-RVA, the Richmond Peace Education Center, the NAACP-RVA, various faith communities, students from schools all over our local area, AND MORE. Please come stand in support of the local students who are ready to make a difference in our communities! ALL are welcome to this nonviolence march on the Capitol.*
