March For Science: Athens

The March for Science is on April 22, 2017. As part of this national event, we are rallying in Athens that morning from 11 to 12. This is a peaceful, nonpartisan, family friendly event. Please come out and add your voice to the chorus.

Mission statement: The March for science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
