Celebrate Earth Day and show support for coastal Georgia's researchers and scientists! We're proud to host an official March for Science satellite march and look forward to standing up for our coast's wildlife and wild places.
We'll march throughout Historic Downtown Brunswick and will end our celebration with food, speakers, and interactive booths from local nonprofits.
Meet at Gateway Park (corner of Newcastle and Bay Streets, near the Harold Pate Buidling) in Historic Downtown Brunswick. There is ample public parking nearby.
After a short welcome rally, we'll march down Newcastle Street to Queen's Square, where we'll celebrate coastal Georgia with speakers, nonprofit booths, food, music, and fun!
Participants in the City's Clean Your Block Party are encouraged to take part in the march after the morning cleanup!
One Hundred Miles will host a pre-march poster-making party on Thursday, April 20th, from 4:00-6:00 PM. Come to create your own masterpiece, or get creative at home! (Signs not required to march, but encouraged.)
Friends, families, and coastal enthusiasts of all ages welcome. Please save the date and share far and wide!
