Come join us on Earth Day, April 22, 2017, for our local March for Science rally right here in Lewis County. We will gather in front of the Chehalis Library (outside), and participants may also walk along Market Street in Downtown Chehalis, if desired. Show up any time between 11am and 1pm. Bring signs that express your support for scientists and funding of scientific research. Demand that our politicians use scientifically based evidence to enact policies that best serve humanity, our planet, and all its inhabitants. This will be a peaceful and family-friendly event, so all signs are expected to be free of any vulgar language. We do not have a permit to divert or block traffic; therefore, all participants are expected to follow all traffic and pedestrian laws and use sidewalks and pedestrian crosswalks only. At some point, we will try to get everyone together for a group photo in front of the library.
