March For Science Colorado Springs

15 E. Platte Ave.
Colorado Springs, CO 80903
United States
April 22, 2017,
12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

This is the official page for the March for Science: Colorado Springs, a satellite of the March For Science in Washington, D.C.
The purpose of this event is to promote scientific literacy in the community, and to show Colorado-- and America, how dedicated we are to education, funding, exploration, and advancement of the Sciences.

We would like to welcome everyone to this FREE event! The March for Science is a proactive movement to encourage the community to stand with our scientists. We believe that if you do not support science for political reasons, you need to reexamine your politics.
We are working in cooperation with the Colorado Springs Police Department, who have been invaluable to our cause.

We will kick things off with a march, so bring a sign and some water! Since it's Earth Day, please use responsibly sourced recyclable materials for your signs, and consider purchasing a refillable water bottle from your favorite charity.
After the march, we will watch a short video courtesy of the Planetary Society, and will hear from local scientists, organizations, and faculty from our community!

Due to the ever-growing nature of this endeavor, all sponsorship and speaker announcements will be available in the Discussion tab of this event, and on our event page. Take a look!
