Meet-up is in the Downtown Grass Valley Safeway Parking Lot at 10am. The March will take us through the downtown area, where postcards will be handed out encouraging people to send them to the white house or their representatives.
Don't forget to make your signs, supporting science, scientists and the planet (it is also Earth Day).
We encourage people to bring a bag to pick up any trash along the way (wear gloves or bring a trash grabber).
The march will take us around the Grass Valley downtown area (peacefully), ending back at the Safeway parking lot. From there, everyone is encouraged to come over to Condon Park (Near Mini Condon) with a sack lunch and enjoy some fun science based activities, meet fellow citizens and science experts and enjoy our beautiful park. There will also be a postcard station so that you also can write to your representatives.
We encourage people to bring their science fun to the park and share it with others.
