Mission: The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
The March for Science is 3-part:
11 AM- 1 PM. The American Space Museum is opening it's doors free of charge and will have interactive science experiments for kids.
1 PM. We will gather in the parking lot of the The American Space Museum and march 0.5 miles to Space View Park & Space Walk of Fame.
1:30-4 PM. Rally at Space View Park full of science and environmental displays and exhibits, with speakers lined up exaulting science.
