May Day Rally for Charlottesville Workers

International Worker's Day (May Day) coincides with the next Charlottesville City Council meeting. City council needs to hear from local residents about what a local government that supports working families looks like.

We will be holding a small rally at 6pm, an hour before City Council begins, to highlight progressive policies city council must take action on. Issues include a living wage for all city employees AND contract workers, reducing the influence of developers, building more affordable housing units, and reforming our local criminal justice system.
