Lancaster Stands Up and Keystone Progress invite you to our Mayoral Forum on Lancaster Values, on First Friday, April 7th, starting at 6:30pm

All five mayoral candidates will be in attendance: Norman Bristol Colon (D), Tony Dastra (I), Kevin Ressler (D), Danene Sorace (D), and Cindy Stewart (R). The forum will be moderated by Lancaster Stands Up organizers Nelly Torres, Eliza Ayers Booth, and Michelle Hines.

Over the past few months, thousands of Lancastrians have become active in the civic and political process, joining together as a community to stand up for the most vulnerable in our community, for social justice, and for Lancaster values. We’ve been calling and writing to our elected representatives and joining public demonstrations. We are sickened and appalled by the Trump Administration's actions. We are deeply concerned about the impact on residents of our community.

We believe it is critical in this moment for mayoral candidates to discuss where they stand in relation to the national political context. We will ask mayoral candidates about what our city should do to respond to current political crises. For example, what should we do to protect immigrants and refugees, to protect our right to health care, and to create police accountability measures?

We will also ask the candidates about their vision for a Lancaster City that is for all of us — where everyday working people have a say in the political process and have access to a quality education, good healthcare, fair wages, and affordable housing.

We hope that you can join us for this important discussion with Lancaster’s mayoral candidates:

D - Norman Bristol Colon for Mayor of Lancaster
I - Tony Dastra for Mayor
D - Kevin Ressler For Mayor
D - Danene Sorace for Mayor
R - Cindy Stewart for Mayor
