Senator Moran is a critical target for stopping the Trump Tax Scam. Kansans have already seen what happens when Republicans give the wealthy and corporations a massive tax cut paid for by middle-class families, and this bill is more of the same; if it passes, 112,000 Kansans stand to lose their health care coverage, and over 114,000 Kansas families will see a tax increase. Senator Moran has said that he thinks mixing health care and taxes is a bad idea, but that’s exactly what the Senate leadership is trying to do. He should vote no on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
National, loud, sustained constituent pressure will be the death knell of this bill.
