Hovde Hall
Lafayette, IN

March 10, 2017,
12:00 pm to 3:00 pm

In Washington D.C. many indigenous people will march in solidarity with their allies on Match 10, 2017 in what is beings called the Native Nations March.

This peaceful march is to show the Trump Administration that we will continue the fight with the indigenous people of this land. We will continue to stand up for their Tribal Rights, their Treaty Rights and most importantly their human rights.

Locally in the Tippecanoe County we will stand peacefully in solidarity with all Native Nations and we too will Rise Up.

It is important to remember that this fight for tribal rights it's vital for all of us. It is important that we keep in mind and remember that when any tribes goes up against a huge gas/oil company. They are not only fighting to protect scared sites their tribe holds significant but most of the time, these tribes are protecting natural resources.

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe started their fight against the DAPL project because it threatened the drinking water for millions of people and that same campy is constructing the Trans Pecos Pipeline in West Texas.

There is also the Navajo Tribe in Arizona gearing up to fight a Uranium Mining project thats threatening the Grand Canyon. The San Carlos Apache Tribe members (also in Arizona) have been fighting to save their holy grounds of Oak Flat for the past three years.

All of these projects being continued and Finished under this administration is no coincidence, and should not be treated as such!

So let's come together on MARCH 10th, and stand with our native brothers and sisters to protect our Mother Earth.
