2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Please join the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Indigenous Environmental Network, and Rising Hearts outside of the US District courthouse on Wednesday, 6/21, as both Tribes will go to court for status hearing vs Army Corps Engineers. A federal judge has ruled in favor for the Tribes, in the DAPL lawsuit, that Army Corps of Engineers failed to complete a proper environmental examination and that the approval of permits issued for the pipeline, were unlawfully expedited. Army Corps failed to properly consider oil spill impacts, therefore violating environmental laws and Treaty Rights. Parts of the environmental analysis is to be reconsidered and re-evaluated.

Oil still flows. But this is a crucial victory in the fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
