One Year's Enough: Chicago Students Walk Out Against Trump!

219 S Dearborn St

November 16, 2017,
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Taking up the call of Socialist Students and Millennials for Revolution, Chicago Socialist Students calls on all high school and college students in the city to walk out in solidarity with students across the country in order to escalate the resistance against Trump. The rally point for all walkouts and feeder marches is Federal Plaza, where we'll rally together at 1 pm.

The first year of Trump’s presidency has been a disaster. He’s failed the people who elected him and he’s threatened the lives of millions with his failed health care bill, his repeal of DACA and threats of mass deportation, his denial of the rights of transgender Americans, and his continued attacks on poor people and workers. We’ve protested, we’ve occupied, and we’ve sat-in. Now it’s time to escalate the resistance and build a force capable of driving Trump and his entire administration out of office and fighting for a better world! Our first step? Help build a nationwide day of student and youth action on the one year anniversary of Trump’s election.
