The majority of Americans support the benefits of a clean energy economy and our country’s involvement in the Paris Climate Agreement – a commitment with nearly 200 other nations to act on climate change. However, despite this fact, President Trump recently decided to abandon our commitment and jeopardize our leadership role in the clean energy economy.
Science overwhelmingly calls for global action on climate change; therefore, we will rally together to send a clear message to our political leaders that we take the threat of climate change seriously and they need to represent us in this matter. If the current administration will not honor our commitment, then we call on our local city mayors, our governor, etc. to do so. Join us this Friday, June 9th to take a stand for science once again!
